Rated PG-13: Chuck was so disappointed with the pickled okra sold in stores. The label said “Hot” but it wasn’t. So Chuck commissioned Harold to come up with an okra that said ‘Hot’ on the label and then said “Hot” to your taste buds. And it is here now. Children beware. Adults rejoice.

Hot Okra: Spicy and hot with a hint of garlic. Those ain’t some pepper flake like you’d put on your pizza floating in the jar. That’s a butterflied habanero that brings a full robust flavor with it.

Texicun Gormay: Is this flavor Texan or is it Mexican? Harold brings the kitchen tricks he learned south of the border from our friends in Mexico about how food should taste and when mixed with Harold's southern palate, you definitely have the perfect blend… the one that is the talk of Texas and Mexico. We really didn’t know how to spell Gormay without spell check and the labels were printed before we knew it was Gourmet, which these okras are, and you’ll agree when you taste them.

Texas Made Pickles: Harold's Texas pickles, okra, and olives are deliciously Texan. Texas made is the only way to create a truly perfect pickle recipe. Go Texan Proud.

About our Pickles: Here at Conscious Choice Foods, we preserve the art & techniques of homemade pickle flavor pickle. Farm-fresh to table, always hand-packed, we present to you the pickled products!

Chuck’s Story: A man of few words with a southern Texas drawl. He may not seem very approachable at first because he rarely smiles with his mouth, choosing instead to befriend people with his eyes and charm. He may not talk much, but when he does his words hold weight. That’s why when he talked about wanting a good pickled okra that had some kick he searched high and low, near and far, until finally it was found - the perfect recipe for Chuck's Hot Okry.
